This is just a quick check to find out if any of you use elance or guru.com. What was your experience? Is it worth it? If you haven't do you know someone that has?
It's kinda iffy. My husband tried it and you have to pay to become a member. Then he submitted proposals but his expertise is in programming. What he found was he was actually competing with other companies that would do this professionally and so he didn't get too many project offers. I think maybe because he was doing this part time instead of full time, he wasn't as competitive a candidate.
I am a twenty something year old living in the most expensive city in the U.S. I have a decent job but crazy amounts of debt. Unfortunately, I can't say what exactly I spent my (really, visa and mastercard) money on. I know there was a lot of eating out involved.
Watch me tackle my debt and live life a la sex and the city
